Join Our Dragon Boat Team on the Oregon Coast

Be part of a welcoming, hard-working, team-driven dragon boating community dedicated to connection, competition, and growth on the water.

Dragon boating is a team sport.

When you join, you’re joining something bigger than yourself.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Can attend practices as frequently as possible

  • Show up ready to work hard

  • Support their teammates

  • Commit to racing and competition

  • Embrace growth, challenge, and accountability

You don’t need to be in peak shape to start.
You do need to be willing to put in the work.

We are welcoming - and we are dedicated.

Are you interested? Let us know!

Express your interest here.

There is a process for joining the team. Anyone who is interested is allowed to attend two practices before becoming a member. We believe that this time will give new people an opportunity to know us as a team and experience the sport before committing to full membership.

Please fill out the form to let us know you are interested in coming to a practice OR interested in joining the team. When there is space on the team, we add people to the team in the order they completed this form, so signing this form is the first step!

Prior to attending any practice, you will need to sign a waiver, and of course be willing to use a lifejacket. We have lifejackets/PFDs and paddles for interested people to borrow.

We will not turn away a new paddler but we prefer the initial practice to not be within the two weeks before a race. We will be able to provide more instruction and aid outside of these time frames.

Still undecided? Check out some of these resources below.
